BankIslami foreign transaction feeand everything else you pay on a card abroad
BankIslami Pakistan charges 4% on its debit card when you pay in a foreign currency, plus provincial sales tax on that fee. On top comes 0.5% advance tax under Section 236Y (1% for non-filers). Here's what that adds up to, with BankIslami's own schedule of charges highlighted.
